ETSG 2026 Exeter

ETSG 2026 Conference Information

27th Annual Conference
10-12 September 2026

Venue

University of Exeter Business School (Streatham Campus)

The conference will take place at the Peter Chalk Building, located on the University of Exeter’s Streatham Campus. Streatham is the University’s largest and main campus, set in beautiful landscaped grounds and a short distance from Exeter city centre.

By Air

The nearest airport is Exeter Airport (EXT), located about 20–25 minutes from the campus by taxi.

  • Offers regular flights from several UK and European cities.

  • Airport taxis and shuttle services operate throughout the day.

Bristol Airport (approx. 1 hr 30 min by car or bus + train) is another convenient option, providing a broader range of international connections.

  • The Air Decker and Falcon services connect the airport to Bristol Temple Meads Station, where trains run frequently to Exeter St David’s.

London Airports — Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, and Luton — are accessible but further away. Travel typically involves:

  • Direct high-speed trains from London Paddington to Exeter St David’s (approx. 2–2.5 hours), or

  • Coach services from Heathrow Central Bus Station or London Victoria Coach Station.

Travel times from London airports to Exeter typically range from 3 to 4.5 hours, depending on the airport and connection.

Helpful reminders

  • Book rail tickets in advance (via Great Western Railway or Trainline) for the best fares.

  • Check coach operators such as National Express or Megabus for economical travel options.

  • Always allow extra time when travelling from London airports due to possible congestion and security queues.

Accommodation

Here you may find a list of hotels for which we have secured preferential rates. Please note that bookings must be made before the stated deadline in order to benefit from these conference rates.

Visa to the United Kingdom

If you require a visa to travel to the United Kingdom, we strongly recommend starting the application process well in advance, as processing times can vary. Conference participants will typically need to apply for a Standard Visitor Visa, which allows attendance at academic conferences and professional events.

The organising committee can issue formal invitation letters once your registration has been confirmed. Please check the UK Government’s visa guidance for up-to-date information on eligibility, required documents, and application procedures.
